Movement Tracking
Bluetooth, Wifi, and mobile/cellular based tracking
Our Footfall tracking technology uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons to detect Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphones or wearables.

Device Detection
When a customer with a Bluetooth enabled device enters the zone, their device is detected by nearby BLE sensors.

Proximity Estimation
Signal strength (RSSI) is analysed to estimate the distance between the device and the sensor, helping to identify the customer’s location within a space.

AI Improving accuracy
AI algorithms run regularly, continually enhancing the accuracy of tracking data for both historical analysis and future applications.

Unique Identifiers
Devices are identified using anonymised MAC addresses to ensure privacy.
Footfall Analytics
Using bluetooth and mobile signals we can provide:
Total visitor footfall
Number of detected devices in an area, serving as a proxy for human presence. Broken down into visitors vs passers-by, hourly footfall and/or footfall by area.
Traffic flow and heatmapping
Pathways people take based on signal movement between multiple sensors. Our heat-mapping is provided as a stand alone report.
Average dwell times
How long devices stay within the coverage area of specific sensors.
